Tax Manager – Music and Entertainment

About the role

This is a full‑time Tax Manager position within a leading global financial services firm that specialises in sports, media and entertainment. You will join a small, high‑performing team in West End, London, supporting high‑net‑worth individuals and creative industry clients on complex cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage US/UK crossover taxation, including client relocations, withholding tax compliance and international entertainment tax issues.
• Provide corporate tax services ranging from simple entities to complex group structures.
• Deliver personal tax advice for high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, often involving offshore structures.
• Oversee inheritance tax and estate‑planning matters for substantial estates across multiple jurisdictions.
• Design trusts and asset‑structuring solutions for family wealth and group assets.
• Handle entertainment‑specific tax work such as film productions, touring musicians, non‑resident share transfers and tax credits.
• Support partners on technical tax planning projects and mentor junior staff as the team expands.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional (CTA, ATT or strong QBE) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Broad tax experience across corporate and personal tax, preferably with US or offshore exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of residency, CGT, share schemes and, ideally, withholding tax or creative‑industry tax credits.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with high‑profile clients and external advisers.
• Stable employment history indicating long‑term commitment.
