Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established accountancy practice in the North West, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager. You will own a varied portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, owner‑managed businesses, landlords and trusts, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal tax client portfolio as the primary point of contact.
• Provide compliance and advisory services across a wide range of tax matters.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Handle HMRC enquiries and investigations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider firm.

Required profile

• Strong personal tax background gained in practice.
• Experience advising individuals and owner‑managed businesses.
• CTA/ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
• Confidence managing an independent portfolio with excellent communication skills.
• Trusts experience desirable but not essential.
