About the role

Nelson Academy is seeking a passionate Teacher to inspire pupils and help them reach their full potential. You will plan and deliver high‑quality lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider trust.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and the Eastern Multi‑Academy Trust.
• Support pupils with additional needs using proven strategies.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Maintain strong behaviour management that builds mutual respect.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven strategies for supporting all learners, including those with additional needs.
• Creativity, flexibility, and a growth mindset.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and continuous professional development.
