About the role

Brookfield Community School, an oversubscribed 11‑16 comprehensive, is seeking an enthusiastic and reflective Teacher of Religious Studies to start in January 2027. The role involves teaching across the full age and ability range, including GCSE Religious Studies, and may include contributions to Citizenship and PSHE.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, ambitious Religious Studies lessons for all year groups.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Social Studies curriculum.
• Collaborate with the department to maintain high expectations and student success.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher, with welcome applications from Early Career Teachers.
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and dedicated to student wellbeing and achievement.

Required skills

• Ability to teach Religious Studies at GCSE level.
