Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Year 3 (Temporary)

About the role

We are partnering with an inclusive primary academy in Blackpool to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support a Year 3 class. This temporary position offers the chance to work within a supportive school community focused on high-quality learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the Year 3 curriculum.
• Deliver small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions in reading, writing and mathematics.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 2, especially lower KS2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, flexible and passionate about pupil achievement.
