About the role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rainham. The role starts in September and offers a full‑time, long‑term opportunity to support pupils in both mainstream and SEN settings.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom routines and lesson delivery.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Help prepare teaching materials and maintain a safe, organised learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the class teacher.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, patient and supportive approach to learning.
