About the role
Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary‑school classrooms in the PR8 area of Southport. You will work alongside class teachers, helping pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to stay engaged and achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide targeted literacy and numeracy support to small groups of students.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation, marking and resource management.
- Promote positive behaviour and keep students focused on daily tasks.
- Help create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels confident.
Required profile
- Minimum Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
- Good understanding of the primary school curriculum and classroom dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
