Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Watford)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Watford. The role supports pupils from Early Years Foundation Stage through Key Stage 2 and offers the chance to work in a dynamic classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in daily lessons.
• Provide one‑to‑one assistance, including support for children with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour management and pupil engagement.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings on a short‑term basis.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a school setting is desirable, though enthusiastic newcomers are welcome.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
