Teaching Assistant – Psychology Students & Graduates

About the role
Hanson Recruitment is seeking psychology students and recent graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in schools across Bath. The role is temporary, term‑time, offering flexible days that can be adjusted week by week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to individual pupils and the whole class.
- Support students' academic progress and development.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with behaviour management and social‑emotional development.
- Follow all school policies on behaviour, safeguarding and health & safety.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in any capacity (ideally sports).
- Psychology degree or equivalent qualification, or currently studying towards one.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work 08:30‑15:30 during term‑time.
- Flexible availability, with the option to change days week by week.

What we offer
- Top daily rate of £90‑£100 (6.5 hours).
- PAYE paid contracts.
- Ongoing support and a range of training (Team Teach, Autism Awareness, etc.).
- Term‑time weekday work with the ability to take time off for exams or holidays.
- Referral bonus of up to £150.
- Potential for the role to become permanent.
