Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Twickenham)

About the role
This full‑time, term‑time position supports a vibrant secondary school in Twickenham. You will work closely with teachers to help students in Key Stages 3 and 4 access the curriculum and develop confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Support KS3 and KS4 pupils in accessing lessons and completing tasks.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions.
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support as needed.
- Help students build independence, resilience and self‑esteem.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, proactive and committed to making a difference.
- Interest in a future career in education, educational psychology or SEN support, or a psychology background applied in a student‑centred environment.
