Team Leader (12‑hour shift) – Canterbury

About the role

The Body Shop is looking for a proactive Team Leader to join its Canterbury store. Working 12‑hour shifts, you will support store management in driving sales, profit and an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support store management in achieving sales and profit targets.
• Supervise, coach and develop Customer Consultants.
• Maintain store layout, inventory and operational standards.
• Handle customer concerns promptly and relay feedback to management.
• Act as an ambassador for The Body Shop’s campaigns and ethical values.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including audit completion.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong sense of urgency and customer‑focused mindset.
• Creative problem‑solving for store layout and inventory issues.
• Passion for ethical beauty and The Body Shop’s activism.
• Capability to understand sales trends and adapt to change.
• Comfort operating multiple retail systems.
