Team Leader - Production

About the role

Rotork is seeking a proactive and organised Team Leader to oversee day‑to‑day production activities. You will manage a team of Operators, coordinate valve production, and ensure that processes run smoothly, safely, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of Operators to achieve daily performance targets.
• Coordinate production activities to meet customer demand, backlog requirements and quality standards.
• Work with Planning and Purchasing to guarantee timely parts availability.
• Maintain accurate build and test instructions and support data‑driven decision‑making, including daily SQDCP reporting.
• Participate in tier meetings, drive problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold 5S housekeeping standards and promote a safe, organised work environment.
• Collaborate with other Team Leaders and the Health & Safety Manager on safety matters.

Required profile

• Strong leadership with experience coaching and supporting a team.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic understanding of lean management techniques and supply‑chain processes.
• Commitment to high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
