Team Leader – Production Shift

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to join our production team on a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern. You will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly, meeting customer specifications and supporting the growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Be ready at the start of each shift and perform specified checks accurately and methodically.
• Ensure all orders are produced and packed according to customer specifications, paying close attention to product quality, label position and print quality.
• Record all shift information on the appropriate quality data sheets legibly and accurately.
• Report any anomalies promptly to the Production Manager for corrective action.
• Understand and apply changes to product and customer specifications and testing procedures.
• Support the Production Manager in achieving targets for quality, yield, giveaway and efficiency.
• Deliver SOP training to operatives to meet quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of production processes and customer specifications.
• Previous supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.
• Experience in accurate record keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Desirable: prior experience in the food industry.
