Technical Project Manager – Managed Technology

About the role

Join Riedel Communications as a Technical Project Manager in the Managed Technology division, leading the delivery of audio, video, IT and communication solutions for high‑profile live events across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design planning, organisation and execution of Managed Technology projects in the UK in close cooperation with account managers and internal specialist departments.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including customer consultation, technical design and on‑site delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the service portfolio, technical solutions and service quality together with development teams.
• Implement technically or lead on‑site the technical team depending on project scope/scale.
• Support the setup, operation and guarantee of all Riedel‑badged products for live productions.

Required profile

• Completed an apprenticeship, university degree, or relevant experience in a technical or event‑related field.
• Project management experience in international events or live production environments.
• Strong technical understanding and interest in innovative audio, video or network solutions.
• Strong leadership, assertiveness and a solution‑oriented mindset in dynamic, time‑critical environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of project planning and management methodologies and common tools.
• Very good English; additional languages are a plus.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel nationally on a frequent basis.
