Technical Recruiter – EMEA

About the role

Waymo is looking for a senior Technical Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for engineering teams across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Recruiting Lead for Onboard Engineering, you will work in a hybrid setting to build an equitable, inclusive hiring process that supports Waymo’s autonomous‑driving mission.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting life‑cycle for software and machine‑learning engineering roles, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, advise on leveling, and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Conduct recruiting analyses and talent assessments to refine search strategies and improve hiring productivity.
• Maintain strong candidate relationships, ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the process.
• Extend, negotiate and close offers, providing recommendations on offer strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in international or fast‑paced environments.
• Proven success closing senior engineering candidates and working directly with senior engineering leadership.
• Experience owning and improving hiring processes, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with software engineering hiring profiles and technical terminology.
• Passion for robotics, autonomy, and machine‑learning domains is a plus.
