Technical Recruiter – Engineering & AI Talent

About the role

Perplexity AI is looking for a Technical Recruiter to shape the talent foundation behind its AI products. You will work closely with hiring managers and engineers across EMEA to source, engage, and hire world‑class technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruitment for engineering, research and infrastructure positions.
• Build outbound pipelines using advanced research, talent mapping, referrals and AI‑assisted automation.
• Partner with hiring managers to define precise role profiles and raise hiring standards.
• Act as the first point of contact for candidates, communicating the company mission and culture.
• Track pipeline metrics, analyse data and develop custom tooling when off‑the‑shelf solutions fall short.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, hard‑to‑fill roles and compressed timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Proven ability to fill hard roles through outbound sourcing and talent mapping.
• Strong technical literacy enabling credible conversations with senior engineers.
• Curiosity and a builder mindset for adopting AI tools to automate recruiting workflows.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with candidates and internal partners.
