Technical Sales Executive – Internal (Hybrid)

About the role

As a Technical Sales Executive based in Wirral, you will build and maintain client relationships, drive new business and support inbound sales activities for a well‑known family‑run business operating in technical markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business, positioning the company as a trusted advisor and supplier.
• Identify and target new opportunities through research, networking, referrals and outbound campaigns.
• Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand client requirements, challenges and decision‑making processes.
• Manage key accounts, perform regular reviews and identify upselling opportunities.
• Provide support for inbound technical sales enquiries, qualify leads and guide product selection based on compliance needs.
• Collaborate with product, operations and marketing teams to deliver seamless solutions and support lead conversion.
• Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound activities using the CRM.

Required profile

• Natural communicator with strong commercial acumen.
• Skilled at listening, qualifying client needs and growing long‑term relationships.
• Proactive, target‑oriented and able to work to sales targets.
• Comfortable conducting client meetings, presentations and account reviews.

Required skills

• CRM (customer relationship management) system proficiency.
• Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings and collaboration.
