Technical Sales Manager – Sensors

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong sales professional to lead the growth of our UK sensor portfolio. The role combines field‑based customer engagement with home‑office flexibility, allowing you to influence design decisions and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new OEM customers across the UK.
• Drive design‑in activity with engineers and technical teams.
• Manage and expand existing strategic accounts.
• Negotiate and close profitable contracts.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven technical sales or field application engineering background.
• Experience selling sensors (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies and applications.
• Engineering or electronics degree, or equivalent experience.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel weekly.
• Self‑motivated and commercially driven.
