Technical Support Engineer

About the role

As an Options Technology Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our options trading operations and technology infrastructure. You will work closely with the client’s technology team and other technology professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our options trading platform.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, providing remote or on‑site support for all options trading technology systems.
• Monitor the health and performance of internal systems, conduct regular maintenance, software updates and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to internal teams when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and service requests, adhering to SLAs and documenting resolutions accurately.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a technical advisor.
• Collaborate with the Options Technology development team to implement system enhancements and upgrades, participating in testing and validation.
• Conduct training sessions for the client’s technical staff and share knowledge with internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within financial services, providing on‑site technical support.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to exceed expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
