Technical Writer – Compounding (Factory‑Based)

About the role

We are looking for two Technical Writers to join our compounding team at a manufacturing site in Petersfield. The role is factory‑based, split between the production floor and a dedicated documentation area, and supports safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Write and structure deviation investigations, root‑cause analyses and CAPA reports.
• Develop, review and maintain SOPs and work instructions for shop‑floor teams.
• Ensure all documentation meets GMP/GDP standards, version control and traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with Compounding, QA and Technical Support to keep documents audit‑ready.
• Provide guidance and training support on technical writing best practices.

Required profile

• Experience as a Technical Writer or strong background in scientific/report writing.
• Ability to produce clear, factual SOPs, work instructions and technical reports.
• Understanding of GMP, GDP and quality‑assurance processes.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 – £19.23 depending on experience.
• Full‑time day or late shift patterns (7 am‑3 pm or 3 pm‑11 pm, Monday‑Friday).
