Telemarketer / Business Development Administrator

About the role

The role is a permanent, office‑based position in Dartford, focused on generating new sales opportunities through proactive outbound outreach. You will work with a CRM database to identify, contact and qualify potential projects for schools, councils and other organisations across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prioritise target organisations within the CRM system.
• Make high‑quality outbound calls to current and prospective clients.
• Identify decision‑makers, understand their needs, timelines and budgets.
• Qualify leads against agreed criteria and hand them to Project Consultants.
• Maintain accurate interaction records and pipeline metrics in the CRM.
• Secure face‑to‑face meetings for Project Consultants with qualified decision‑makers.
• Track activity, outcomes and conversion rates, and report trends.
• Collaborate with Project Consultants to refine messaging and outreach strategy.

Required profile

• Strong telephone communication and sales skills.
• Confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Resilient and target‑driven.
• Previous experience in sales, telesales or business development is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
