Telesales Administrator – Customer Service & Warehouse

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Telesales Administrator to join our Basildon team. The role combines customer‑facing sales activities with warehouse support, ensuring clients receive accurate product information and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Prepare and submit pricing, quotes and tenders, progressing enquiries to sale.
• Conduct regular contact with customers via phone, email and occasional cold‑calling.
• Maintain a fully stocked warehouse, receive new shipments and manage inventory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Manage point‑of‑sale processes and ensure accurate product descriptions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product information and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in office sales or telesales.
• Ability to retain technical product knowledge.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a friendly, confident demeanor.
• Basic administration experience, including Word, Excel and email.
• Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil or hazardous‑substance sales is a plus.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time position, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:00.
• Salary range £27,000‑£30,000 per year.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.
