Temporary Accountant – Sevenoaks (Industrial & Manufacturing)

About the role

This temporary position is based in Sevenoaks and supports a medium‑sized organisation operating in the industrial and manufacturing sector. You will join a well‑established finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Process invoices, payments and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Provide financial information to aid decision‑making.
• Assist with internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
• Offer ad‑hoc support to the wider accountancy team as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting functions similar to those listed.
• Ability to start on short notice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
