About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Temporary Cover Receptionist to provide front‑of‑house support across our sites in St Albans, Watford and Milton Keynes. This role ensures a professional and welcoming environment when permanent reception staff are absent.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver seamless temporary reception cover, greeting visitors and managing the reception area.
- Handle couriers, post, and deliveries efficiently.
- Maintain immaculate presentation of vacant spaces and common areas.
- Build effective relationships with clients, agents, contractors, and tenants.
- Report and manage building issues, prioritising security and health‑and‑safety procedures.
- Support promotional events and local amenity information for tenants.
Required profile
- Positive, can‑do attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
- Calm under pressure and able to deliver excellent customer service.
- Professional appearance and engaging demeanour.
- Strong communication skills and proactive problem‑solving.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard PC applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
