Temporary Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

This temporary position focuses on managing aged debt and ensuring timely payments. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve invoice disputes and maintain accurate account records. The role combines proactive communication with detailed account reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to discuss aged and overdue invoices.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, customer service and operations to resolve payment issues.
• Investigate disputes and identify root causes that delay payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts to provide a clear view of outstanding balances.
• Handle misallocated payments, raise credit notes and maintain accurate ledger records.
• Produce regular reports on account status and ageing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable administration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships.
• Highly organised, tenacious and capable of managing own workload against targets.
• Attention to detail when reconciling accounts and processing adjustments.
