Temporary Customer Service Representative in Glasgow

About the role

This is a three‑month, office‑based position in Glasgow supporting the processing of visa applications and renewals. You will be the first point of contact for applicants, helping them complete forms, collect biometric data and submit required documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through visa application procedures.
• Check and verify completed applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Collect biometric data and other required paperwork.
• Follow a defined filing and administration process using a computer‑based system.
• Provide a positive service experience and handle customer complaints diplomatically.

Required profile

• Personable with a can‑do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, remaining patient, professional and adaptable.
• Demonstrable experience in a customer‑facing role within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Valid DBS certificate (must be provided).
• Immediate availability.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.50 plus holiday pay accrual.
• 37.5 hours per week on a rotational basis (8 am‑4 pm, 5 days or 8 am‑6 pm, 4 days).
