Temporary Legal Cashier

About the role

We are seeking a cheerful and detail‑oriented Temporary Legal Cashier to join our dynamic team in LS28, Leeds. This on‑site, ad‑hoc position provides holiday cover and offers flexible working hours between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with an hourly rate of £15‑£16 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage client accounts and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to resolve queries.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a legal cashier.
• Good understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
