Temporary Maintenance Operative – Student Accommodation

About the role
We are looking for two temporary Maintenance Operatives to support a busy student accommodation site in East London. This one‑week assignment starts on Monday 27th July and involves preparing rooms and communal areas for new residents.
Key responsibilities
- Dismantle bed frames and other furniture as required.
- Refill and repair damaged walls.
- Paint and carry out decorative touch‑ups.
- Perform general snagging and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare rooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Work safely and follow site procedures.
- Assist the on‑site team with additional maintenance duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman or property maintenance.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate availability to start on 27th July.
Required skills
- Use of basic hand tools.
- Painting and wall repair (making good) techniques.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13‑£13.50.
- Full‑time onsite work, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑4:00 pm.
- Experience in a fast‑paced student accommodation environment.
