Temporary Management Accountant – Bristol

About the role
This temporary position is for a Management Accountant based in Bristol. You will support the finance team by preparing accounts, analysing performance and providing financial insight to help drive commercial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
- Produce accruals, pre‑payments and month‑end journal entries.
- Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Analyse financial performance and investigate variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning processes.
- Develop financial models to aid commercial decision‑making.
- Partner with operational and department leaders, monitoring and reporting key business KPIs.
- Assist with year‑end accounts and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role.
- Strong month‑end and management reporting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Financial modelling.
