Territory Sales Representative – Joinery Supplier

About the role

Join the UK’s No.1 trade kitchen supplier as a Territory Sales Representative. Working in the field, you will build a network of trade customers, win new business and develop long‑term partnerships across your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively approach prospective trade customers and convert opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow and nurture the existing account base, supporting depot performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and clearly explain its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Maintain ownership of customer enquiries from first contact to resolution.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and performance updates.
• Keep sales data accurate and up‑to‑date for visibility of activity and pipeline.
• Work safely and adhere to Health & Safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven track record in winning new business or a target‑driven sales environment.
• Confident communicator who can engage trade customers from the first conversation.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and driven to succeed.
• Ability to develop product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Full UK driving licence.
