Theatre Design Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Theatre Design Consultant to join our London team and contribute to prestigious cultural projects worldwide. The role offers the chance to work on iconic performing‑arts venues, collaborating with architects, engineers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, clients, and internal teams to develop innovative theatre design solutions for auditoria, seating, and back‑of‑house/front‑of‑house layouts.
• Contribute to design development, documentation and presentation materials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction completion.
• Conduct research and design analysis to inform project strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and workshops.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Part II architectural qualification (or equivalent) in design or a related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in architectural or comparable design practice.
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and legal right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino.
• Competence with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
