TIG Welder Fabricator – Aerospace Manufacturing (Dunstable)

About the role

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Dunstable as a TIG Welder Fabricator. You will work on a four‑day week, either on a day or night shift, producing high‑precision ducting components from specialised alloys.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate ducting components using stainless steel, titanium, Inconel and nickel alloys.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding, including foot‑pedal controlled welding of thin‑walled tubes.
• Operate a turntable with foot pedal and a glove‑box welding chamber.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and maintain required approval stamps.
• Utilise hand tools such as snips, hammers and abrasive pads as needed.

Required profile

• Recent experience in TIG welding of stainless steel, titanium or nickel alloy tubes.
• Ability to work both day and night shift patterns.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Willingness to obtain and keep welding qualification stamps (e.g., 5F, 6G).
