TMT Investment Banking Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Associate to join our Technology Investment Banking team in London. The role involves supporting senior bankers in delivering M&A, capital‑raising and strategic advisory services to clients across the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, preparation of marketing materials and coordination of due‑diligence activities.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies, assess performance and evaluate strategic alternatives.
• Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitive dynamics and regulatory developments within the TMT space.
• Support senior bankers in the preparation of pitch books, presentations and client meetings.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to manage due‑diligence processes and ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as capital markets and research to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a related area, preferably with exposure to the TMT sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a solid understanding of valuation techniques.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling.
