Town Merchandiser

About the role

Footasylum is recruiting a Town Merchandiser for its Manchester retail estate. Reporting to the Area Manager and Visual Support Manager, you will look after a cluster of stores and maintain the visual presentation of footwear, accessories and apparel. The role involves bringing streetwear to life across multiple stores, developing teams and shaping standout displays.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain business guidelines throughout the stores.
• Drive sales through visual proposition and keep visual standards impeccable.
• Deliver the company's visual merchandising strategy while staying true to its brand.
• Carry out constructive floor walks with store teams to check that guidelines are followed.
• Train and develop in-store teams so they meet company guidelines and standards.
• Review and refresh in-store layouts and window displays regularly.
• Collect information and photographs of store set-ups and assist with new store set-ups.

Required profile

• A minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally in a fashion retail environment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility in working patterns and ability to change at short notice.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope with pressure.
• Professional manner in conduct and presentation.
