Trading Services Associate – Loan Trading Documentation

About the role

Join JPMorgan's Wholesale Loan Middle Office in Bournemouth and support the secondary trade closing process for loan transactions. You will work closely with front‑office traders, sales teams, clients and legal counsel to ensure smooth settlement of par loan trades.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with traders, sales, clients and counsel to settle secondary loan trades.
• Maintain a clean aging profile for a portfolio of trades across multiple lines of business.
• Review LMA standard documents, trade confirms, assignment agreements and related legal paperwork.
• Identify and escalate issues to traders, legal counsel and management as needed.
• Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports tracking open items and risk metrics.

Required profile

• Experience in loan products or loan trading operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to take initiative and work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with loan‑management systems such as LoanIQ and ClearPar.
• Knowledge of LMA standard documentation and loan trade lifecycle.
