Trainee CCTV Engineer – Full‑time

About the role

First Response Group is seeking a motivated Trainee CCTV Engineer to join its expanding engineering team. This full‑time position offers a solid foundation for a long‑term career in the security and surveillance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance and servicing of temporary and fixed CCTV systems.
• Support senior engineers on planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Install and maintain temporary CCTV towers, including solar‑ and battery‑powered solutions.
• Carry out basic fault finding and troubleshooting on CCTV and security equipment.
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and company guidelines.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK as required.
• Complete accurate installation and maintenance reports on time.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• Reliable and self‑motivated with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in CCTV, security systems or electrical work is advantageous but not essential.
