About the role
Join a dental practice in Portsmouth as a Trainee Dental Nurse and earn while you learn. No prior experience is required – you will receive full on‑the‑job training to become a qualified Dental Nurse registered with the GDC.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the dental team with patient care and treatment preparation.
- Maintain strict infection‑control standards and keep the clinical area tidy.
- Prepare and organise dental instruments and materials.
- Complete the required training programme, examinations and portfolio (Record of Experience).
- Progress to a permanent dental nursing role once qualified.
Required profile
- Motivated individual with a genuine interest in dental nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to invest in training (deposit £799, balance spread over 6 months).
- Ability to work full‑time or part‑time in an onsite dental practice.
