Trainee Dental Nurse – Sunderland

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to start a career as a Trainee Dental Nurse in Sunderland. You will receive full on‑the‑job training, work alongside experienced dental professionals and progress towards GDC registration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and dental instruments.
• Ensure strict infection control and sterilisation standards.
• Support patient comfort and manage patient records.
• Complete a practical portfolio (Record of Experience) as part of the training programme.

Required profile

• No prior dental experience required.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop as a dental nurse.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to complete the training and examinations.
