Trainee Electronics Technician – London

About the role

Panavision is seeking an ambitious, hands‑on individual to join its Video & Electronics team in Greenford, London. Through a structured, office‑based training programme you will acquire the specialised skills required to service, repair and calibrate industry‑leading cameras and electronic accessories.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and learn a wide range of electronic engineering processes under expert guidance.
• Progress towards independently servicing and refurbishing proprietary equipment and accessories.
• Construct or modify electronic equipment from technical drawings and verbal instructions.
• Use internal systems to track repairs, manage resources and ensure data accuracy for stock takes.
• Liaise with internal departments and external clients to provide technical problem‑solving and support.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop and uphold strict Health & Safety standards.

Required profile

• A natural interest in how things work and a desire to build a career in electronic engineering.
• Ability to stay calm and logical under tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication for collaborating with colleagues and assisting clients.
• Comfortable using software systems to manage workflows and technical data.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electronics is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated team player open to constructive feedback and committed to world‑class customer service.
