Trainee Field Service Engineer (Full Industry Training)

About the role

This entry‑level position offers a comprehensive industry training programme for aspiring field service engineers. You will work on a local patch covering Plymouth and surrounding towns, providing installation, maintenance and service for specialist electromechanical products used in finance, gaming and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and test electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and technical support.
• Travel door‑to‑door within an assigned geographic area without overnight stays.

Required profile

• Motivated individual seeking a career in engineering.
• Background in electro‑mechanical, engineering or a related technical field.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to commute to Plymouth and surrounding locations.
