Trainee Health and Safety Officer – No Experience Needed

About the role
This traineeship is designed for individuals with no prior health and safety experience who want to launch a career in occupational safety. You will study online at your own pace, gain recognised IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications, and receive dedicated support to secure your first health and safety position.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the IOSH Managing Safely course to understand risk control and legal duties.
- Earn the NEBOSH General Certificate covering workplace hazards and safety legislation.
- Conduct practical risk assessments and develop control measures for simulated environments.
- Prepare application materials and interview for entry‑level health and safety roles with the help of a recruitment specialist.
Required profile
- Motivation to start a new career in health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage online study.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
