Trainee / Junior Paraplanner – Financial Planning

About the role
Our client, a well‑established financial planning practice in Burnley, is seeking a motivated Trainee / Junior Paraplanner to support their advisory team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in client‑facing work and the development of core paraplanning competencies.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with advisers and senior paraplanners on day‑to‑day tasks.
- Attend client meetings and take accurate notes.
- Prepare basic suitability reports and draft recommendations.
- Research and analyse pension, investment and protection products to meet client needs.
- Assist in the implementation of client recommendations.
- Carry out routine administrative duties related to IFA work.
Required profile
- Previous experience in IFA administration (essential).
- Working towards a Level 4 diploma in financial planning (desirable).
- Good understanding of pensions, investments and protection products.
