Trainee Law Accountant

About the role

We are seeking three ambitious Trainee Law Accountants to join our Cumbernauld office. The role offers a structured two‑year development plan, including training in judicial accounting, private client feeing and the SOLAS qualification, leading to a fully qualified Law Accountant position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of judicial accounts of expenses for Scottish courts.
• Support private client and executry feeing tasks.
• Perform daily administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
• Handle sensitive information confidentially and build client relationships.
• Work under pressure, manage competing priorities and collaborate within a team.

Required profile

• Good academic or work record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Self‑motivated, analytical, problem‑solving and strong negotiation skills.
• UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
