Trainee Recruiter / Resourcer

About the role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Recruiter/Resourcer to join a fast‑moving recruitment team in Weybridge. No prior recruitment experience is required – we will train the right candidate with the right attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media and internal databases.
• Screening and qualifying applicants to understand their goals and skills.
• Building strong relationships with candidates and consultants.
• Writing engaging job adverts and supporting interview coordination.
• Matching candidates to suitable opportunities and helping the team meet targets.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys speaking to new people.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in recruitment or sales.
• Ambitious, target‑driven and results‑oriented.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable and eager to take on challenges.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or technology.

Required skills

• Familiarity with job boards, LinkedIn and social media platforms for talent sourcing.
