Trainee Recruiter

About the role

A well-established and growing business is looking for a Trainee Recruiter to join its team in Weybridge. No recruitment experience is needed: the right personality, passion and people skills are enough, and the team will teach you the rest. The role suits someone driven, outgoing and enthusiastic about talking to people.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing top talent using job boards, LinkedIn, social media and the company database
• Screening and qualifying candidates to understand their goals, skills and motivations
• Building strong relationships with both candidates and consultants
• Writing engaging job adverts and supporting interview coordination
• Helping match the right candidates to the right opportunities
• Working closely with the wider team to meet targets and celebrate wins

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys speaking to new people
• Positive, proactive attitude and genuine interest in recruitment or sales
• Ambitious, target-driven and excited by results
• Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or technology

• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Resilient, adaptable and up for a challenge
