Trainee Surveyor / Estimator

About the role

Our client, a well‑established home improvement and glazing firm operating in Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, is seeking a motivated Trainee Surveyor / Estimator. This full‑time, permanent position offers hands‑on experience across warehouse logistics, project estimating, and on‑site surveys, providing a solid foundation for a career in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support warehouse and logistics operations to understand the full business workflow.
• Assist senior staff with estimating projects and delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Learn installation processes for premium windows and doors.
• Conduct site surveys alongside experienced professionals.
• Participate in project management activities from quotation through to completion.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
• Practical, hands‑on approach with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, enthusiastic attitude.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
