Training Instructor – South West

About the role

Arco Professional Safety Services is seeking a Training Instructor for its South West region. You will deliver health and safety training, focusing on working at height and confined spaces, and help shape safe practices for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of accredited and non‑accredited health & safety training courses.
• Support the development and delivery of bespoke client training programmes.
• Assist in generating new business and promoting Arco’s services.
• Maintain training equipment and storage areas.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and support equipment sales events.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and occasional out‑of‑hours/weekend work (pre‑agreed).
• Hold at least one of the following qualifications: City & Guilds Confined Space Training, IOSH or higher, IRATA Level 1 (Work at Height).

Required skills

• IT skills, including use of presentation software.
• Health & safety training delivery.
