Transport Coordinator – Logistics Planning

About the role
The Transport Coordinator will oversee the movement of goods for a market‑leading manufacturer, ensuring that routes are planned, drivers are scheduled and deliveries are completed on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule transport routes and driver shifts.
- Monitor deliveries in real‑time and provide customer updates.
- Liaise with third‑party logistics providers.
- Ensure deliveries meet timing and cost targets.
- Maintain accurate transport records and reports.
Required profile
- Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
- Background in manufacturing or logistics preferred.
- Strong planning and analytical abilities.
- IT literate with the capacity to manage a busy workload.
