HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time, Gateshead

About the role

OSE European Ltd is a busy transport and logistics company based in Gateshead. They are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 driver to join their permanent, full‑time team and handle time‑critical deliveries across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on schedule, protecting the driver, customers and the public.
• Ensure consignments arrive undamaged and in full.
• Maintain vehicles to the highest standard and report any issues promptly.
• Comply with all road safety and regulatory requirements during each journey.

Required profile

• Valid CPC (Driver's Card) qualification.
• Experience driving in the UK; European experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work away from home frequently.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• CPC qualification
• ADR qualification (optional but beneficial)
