Transport Operations Clerk

About the role

This is a full‑time, rotating‑shift position within the Transport department, working 5 days out of 7 with occasional weekend coverage. Shifts alternate between 06:00‑14:00 and 14:00‑22:00 on a five‑week rota.

Key responsibilities

• Provide drivers with required paperwork and support route departures.
• Collect and process tachograph reports and debrief drivers after journeys.
• Administer transport‑related documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with warehouse administration tasks as needed.
• Act as the first point of contact for any operational challenges that arise during the shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with HGV drivers or in a similar transport environment (transferable skills considered).
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily priorities and shift patterns.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
